No Vertical or Horizontal Signal

Whether I do a regular scan, power scan or transponder scan only recieve the vertical transponders....no horizontals. When I power scan its says it's finding the horizontals, but when the stations come in, I only get duplicates of the verticals......yes my extreme and my sub work fine......hitting off limits no switch........2 cable to one lnb......this is in my living room....level 95....quality 99 on vertical transponders....level 95 and no quality on horizontals

now I hook the same 700 in my bedroom where I have 91 and 110.....running a mulitstar ds4120p switch.....my other 700 working just fine there.....level drops to 30 and no quality
on either off limits or 110

so off to my buddys house......he has a 700 .....hitting 110.....same thing....no switch..level drops to 30 and no quality

this has been ongoing for 3 months so I know it is not a bin problem.....i think I tried all the bins out there....and yes my settings are all correct

thanks for any input......johnjon100

This subject has come up several times in the past and it appears there are only 2 things you can do.
1. Go into your antenna setup menu area...you have to locate the section..for the moment I have forgetten exactly where, but I think it is located in the power scan menu selection. In there you will see POLARITY. Make certain this is set to ALL.
2. If it is set to ALL and this doesn't help you with your scanning problem, then it may be a problem with the power output from your receiver to your LNB. One side of your voltage out may have failed. The only way you can find this out is with a meter.
So check it out and let me know the results.

It probably is component failure

I don't know if you are savvy enough to know how to check voltage out to LNB, but for this you will need meter and somebody who knows how to check.
This problem has come up a fair number of times in the past and I know at one time people were sending them back to Ariza for repair. Here, I wouldn't hold my breath. Unless someone else has possibility they can post..there is little that can be done. Like I said before a lot of threads got started discussing this very same issue.
My only other suggestion is..turn dish sideways...lean against the wall and hope you can see both transponders...lol!!!
Anyway, I wish there is more that I could offer to help you.

Extra Transponders-700S

I had same problem (no horizontal transponders) after loading ARIZA 700S_H20071105_300e_api.
A power scan on 119 gave me duplicate vertical channels but no horizontal channels.
I reloaded boot file, then older app. file, then finally 300e,with same results, no horizontal transponders.
In INSTALLATION & noticed that there were more than 32 transponders listed for 119, so I went to EDIT TP/SATELLITE & deleted all TPs after TP32.
A new POWER SCAN & all channels are back with no duplicates on 119

If it worked for you..then I hope it will work for him.

power to LNB

My problem is I get no signal at all; settings are all correct, other FTA works fine on this dish. I tested power to LNB Vertical gets 12.09V and horizontal has 11.92V. This is an ariza 700, is there anything inside the unit I can change to correct this problem ??

Thanks

Does not matter what file I use I’ve tested with newer and 252E, my other ariza 700 works fine with same files. I have had this unit put away for some time when it first started with this problem; I was hoping some info was available as to what part needs to be changed...

Thanks

try loading the factory file...do that at least three times then load the new file

after setting up your sats do a power scan ...it may bring back your signal
