Software Update

So I see dish placed a new software update out for 301.10, new software version is P450. After taking update this morning screen comes up saying smartcard has expired please put in new card you received by dn and call to activate? Im running 301.10 with NO RSA, using atmega 128. Havent had any problems with updates till now? ANy reason?

Instead of hitting th cards did they send out for a receiver hit?

Well what ever it was fixed itself....have tv again software version is still P450, which I checked DN web-site and no update of software version shows. Intresting.....fingers tapping table.

P450 is for the 301-013 the 301-010 is at P393 and P394 is now spooling.

Ya your right blink. I checked the back of my receiver after i read this and forgot my dad has my 10 and I took his 13, didnt even relize or remember. Periodically though I still get a messege stating card is going to expire though. Any thoughts with Phoneix to correct the problem? I am using v 2.2.9?

So I now get a display window stating smartcard is going to expire. Any feedback as to if any of the new phoniex releases have a file stopping this screen, from popping up? Incase your wondering as stated in the above post it is for a 301.13 with software version P450. Anybody with the same system that aslo took the update would be nice to hear from

Not to get off on a tangent, but is anyone getting the "We have a free upgrade...." nag on the 301.01 that already has the #393 upgrade? I wasn't aware of anything higher - not sure if it's a set-up for a future ecm or not. Checked is "ask permission" and the receiver stays "on" unless accidently turned off by the wife!!

well thats it. unless I get my receiver reflashed I think I am stuck. Nomore tv with atmega 128. It tells me my card expired, and I need to install the new one now. Thank got for 102 in livingroom, guess this means I have to have more sex with the wife to kill time in bed....

have you tried erasing card several times and reprograming it with Phoenix 2.29 with mecm 40 patch? I've done this to 3 friends cards that got that nag and this resolved issue!!!
