Any assistance would be appreciated

I am considering an 8000 HD unit. These seem to have an aggressive price for a unit with HD capabilities. I am curious about the support for these units. They appear to be a smaller company.

I am currently using a Neusat SP6000. This is a very simple unit to operate but the support as of this time is little to none.

I am a complete rookie to fta systems and would certainly appreciate any information you all can throw my way.

Thanks

Little box, great unit, easy to set up.
at times any box you buy, you will get
support that you might not like.
I have 2 HD receivers Captain, coolsat.
I prefer both support is good with both
of them. You have to know that it is fta
and like with all good things, you have to be patient
at times. but you and all of us have to know.
if it's down we wait, and test.
I'm happy with Captain !

I strongly suggest you put out a bit more cash and get a better HD system than Captain. It's support is the absolute worst and the machine has numerous glitches. I wish I had now that I have mine.
Look into ViewSat or SonicView.
