Some buttons on CW800s stopped working

2 buttons on my CW 800s have stopped working the 0 and the left one that navigates the menus by the OK button. I can still get by but if more buttons go out I might be in a bind. Has anyone had this issue? Do any universal remotes out there that work well with it?

the site sponer sells them 20 bucks

also you can take them apart and clean them ,i've done a few 600p remotes..they had pop dryed up in them .. i just use a bit of soapy water on a rag .. not putting them right under water, but cleaned them and the pads .. and away they went working fine again..

I just bought it 2 weeks ago and never dropped or spilled anything on it. The buttons just went out last night for no reason. Thanks for the info I will see about buying a replacement remote.

i have my self taken the batteries out and put them in backwards to reset the remote.. it has worked for me before .. some poeple say not to but hey if it isn't working you don't have anything to lose.. i put mine in for about 5-10 sec's hit a few bottons and then turned them around the right way... sometimes weak batteries will slow or stop the remote from working right as well

Great job chuckturner.....wish relationships were like that, too. Take them apart, put them back and they start working again. That really would be great!
