No satelites to choose from

A friend installed my dish for me a couple of years ago and taught me how to load bins. I have never had a problem until about a week ago. My satellite got what I read on here as the "Red light syndrome". I followed the instructions and now it will turn on and acts like it used to....except......I have no channels and when I go into the menu and installation, there are no longer satellite's there to choose from.

Where the satellite's normally come up (and you can toggle left to right through them) there is nothing but a 0.

Any suggestions? Did I do something wrong when I tried to fix the red light syndrome? Is this just a setting in the menu's somewhere or a BIN problem?

CW600S.

Thanks for any help,

Mike

Yes I did. This is how I got here........
-Red light
-Accidentally reset receiver to factory default
-Followed the instructions for red light syndrome (which at least brought it back to life)
-Reloaded 1.14 factory bin
-Loaded 2.27 bin

Now I have no satellites to choose from.

good deal at least you got it back to life.
my suggestion.do a factory default 3 times.now see if you have sats.if you do then scan the ones you want.then enable patch f1 000
hope this helps, and if it doesnt keep trying.

Woohoo....that worked. I now have satellites and everything is good except that channels are scrambled. Do I just load the latest BIN or do I need to load the factory Bin first?

LOL.......I don't want to screw this up again.

Thanks for the help.
