Channel Master error

I have recently update my XP media addition to XP Black Pro, and have problems with Channel Master reading or writing to my Fortec turned 2500. I can load B-75 bins with no problems, just can't load Channel List or read from STB. When Channel Master tries to flash the FTA it ends in completed with error--Error Complete, or it will say open port problem. Anybody else have this problem, and if so any suggestions???
