How to Nano Dongle Improved

1. Upgrade the CNX Nano with NPB 4.13 file.

2. After the upgrade goto Menu -> Accessory -> RS-232 Mode and select Type to Dongle. (just to check that is on Dongle Mode ) then exit and go to system information

3. Connect the Dongle to RS-232 Port.

4. Connect the Lan line to the dongle.

5. After 10 seconds (Dongle booting time ) on System Information in the very bottom line it should show the Dongle software version

6. If it shows the version it means connected but if it shows Unknown it means not connected.

7. When Connected go to USB Menu and select the DGL (Dongle Upgrade File).

A. It should start to upgrade the Dongle.

B. After the upgrade please check the System Information in the Menu and make sure the upgraded version is IX-X00-N_A2.0.4

8. Go to Menu Accessory -> RS-232 Mode and select Network IP Setup.

9. Will read the Dongle IP information and show. If the IP information shows Auto or Manual, it means the IP setup is correct.

A. If it shows Not Used it means setup has not been done. Check the Lan line and if no problem please select Auto and Apply. without disconnecting the ethernet cable from dongle reboot you router if you have problems here

B. IF you do not see IP information after 20-30 seconds it is the lan line problem.

10. When it has been set up correctly go to *** / Dish N3 Channel and the Dongle will try to connect to the server.

Press OK

When Dongle is connected it will show steady green light or almost steady but not just blinking

If its blinking green leave it on one channel and just wait for it to work
