Vincent, please remove the email link. It is dangerous and it is against site rules.

P.S. Nevermind, you got it!

check the volt max online for your machine and find another power source with the same volt...
or bring it back to where you bought it.

I hate to say this, but most of the EMachines have that problem. The power supply fails and usually takes the motherboard with it. Very few instances of the motherboard working after a power supply failure. I have also seen 2 Emachines that the hard drive went after a power supply failure.
Good Luck!

eMachines have two different weak components: the motherboard and the power supply. If you have tried other power supplies and it still doesn't power up, it is possible that they are flaky as well. However, it is far more likely that something on your motherboard (probably a capacitor) has gone south on you. Try looking for a bulging or leaking capacitor and simply replace it if you have decent soldering skills. If you have a Fry's store near you, my own personal preference is to just purchase one of their bargain small footprint motherboard/CPU combos. I picked one up for $89 that fit perfectly in the eMachines chassis and it not only restored full function to the computer but it was considerably faster as well. With most motherboard replacements, you will have to do a "repair install" if you're running Windows XP and you will also have to re-activate. However, that is seldom a problem since eMachines does include a valid C-O-A and Product ID code that will ensure activation will proceed without a hitch.
