Parental Control

Hey guys/gals,

Any help would be appreciated. I have a coolsat 7100 and i'm trying to set up parental control. How do i do it once I'm in the menu? What do all those numbers mean?

Go to channels... press locked channels.... and place the channels that you want protected. Then Ok them... it will ask if you would like to save.... push yes.... and exit out completely and you're set.

Hi !

I'm not sure if this applies to the CS7100 but in my CS5K I place my TV to lock the channels rating from PG-13 and above and the TV detected the programs that my CS5K was transmitting on that rating, maybe you should set up your TV too, also on the CS it will ask you for the password to watch that channel once set up as per agogi321.

Thanks agogi321, I'll give it a try. tjdss, I'm not sure if my tv has any settings for that but i'll look.
