Question Converting a mpeg or divx file to TS

Is there a program to convert divx or mpegs to the TS file format for playback on the 7100 pvr?

there are many threads on site concerning this, a search should return good results.

Just to give you a start, convertXtodvd, video redo (does work well), pva strumento and others.
however I am unsure if they will work in reverse although they should

although I have a question, according to coolsatusa 7100 plays divx, does this not work for any 7100 onwers?

There are threads about converting TS to other formats, but I havent been able to find anything about the conversion of a movie file to the TS format. I have had no luck with divx playback, it shows file error. It is SUPPOSED to support divx format! I have not heard or seen of anyone who has had a successful playback of divx on the 7100.

operative word SUPPOSED to, okay I have a lot on my plate but I will play a little with these and see what I can make work if anything.
In the meantime, it would be interesting to find out if the factory file will play divx, perhaps it is a flaw in 3rd party bin.
