CS6K's System Info reads CS5K !!! after loading the proper 201 bin

Hi Guys,

My cs6k's system info screen reads Coolsat 5000 Platinum after loading the latest bin... Properly loading the bin: factory/reset/new/reset, etc. I've got this box since they came out... over three years ago, and this never happened. Also, it stays scrambled...

Anyone? Any idea?

Thanks!

Update... No longer scrambled, but still reads cs5k in the system info. Anyone knows why?

Sorry Gary Gnu and to all that I have passed on this misinformation. The source of my knowledge was this site where last year during the CS bin crisis, it was repeatedly mentioned that these 3 receivers share the same file [since we were using older bins]. Mentioned by very senior members like yourself and moderators.
Again, I am sorry all, that I misinformed you all.

no, they never shared the same bins...
the system info name is just a hardcode text that they forgot to change.
if you know you loaded the correct file then you're good to go.

never mix bins or even drinks for that matter.

cheers.
