will the d/b 500 come with a power supply?

Hedo or falcon can answer question about sat toys better than I can but yes mine came with a power supply.

I have narrowed my search down between the DB500 and VS7k PVR. Which do you think would be better as far a support, expense, & recording?

i think the d/b 500 will record to a external drive
& the v/s pvr is a recorder
if you have been reading post-beaware the dream box is a lot different than other box's
recomend a scart plug/a high end disecq switc/a power switch from radio shack that you splice in to the power supply cord / will need d_v type lnb
