???? CAN or CAN'T ???

Firefox works just fine for me, I use the quicklink and log into NEW POSTS..
However once I installed F-SECURE AV I CAN'T log in with IE.
I get as far as putting my UN and password in then it come back your NOT
LOGGED in.... PERIOD. the 2 boxes for UN and password are BLANK!

Heck I hate IE so don't use it 99% of the time anyway....
I may play with it and see why this happens, but other priorities right now,
so not a priority to fix it...
I like FireFox and will stick with it.... Actually tried to see how many open
windows before it crashes I can open and got to 140 and gave up!
This is with a AMD 3500 X2 and 1 gig shared ram... That will go up to 2 gigs
and a new 4200 CPU! AMD X2.

I was BIG pc fan and admin for many years, swore i was going to buy a MAC. about 9 months ago i did... LOVE it and have no problems @ rookie with firefox. i do one hand full of times have the "loading" issue but not with rookie, most of these few times it is with a web mail program.

I really like to options that if there is a power outage, you can choose to restore ALL settings and all of the 15 tabs come right back up that is sooo cool.

Yea the restore in Firefox is GREAT!
Now on a UPS, but when the power goes out you lost all windows and usually lost in the history. Now just click restore windows and BANG your back to what you were viewing...
Love it!

Dispatcher...i dl and ran Free Registry Cleaner...didnt help with the logging in with FireFox. I too have the latest version of FF and always keep current, so for me its not a version issue. Also I was aware, if you could click on any forum or feature (like New Posts) the bouncing and constant loading would stop...but its like clicking on a bucking bronco....im glad to see other solutions..... Ive heard aluminum foil on the ears works....and a banana in the bucking bronco's tailpipe settle it down..LOL..... think ill try those too....smiles

I don't think it has anything to with the registry because I just had to reinstall windows last week (a fresh install) and the problem was still there.

I dont think the registry is fully restored unless you do a full format or "Destructive Recovery".
