help with sv 4000 - FTA

ive lost some of my channels on hbo and showtime is there a fix for that or can someone tell me what to do to fix it!

those channels have gone N3. Expect more to go in coming weeks. And no there is no fix at present time. There is a list of channels moved to N3 in forums( can't remember where offhand), but if you look around you'll find it.

what is n3 and will there ever be a fix or am i oare we just screwed

N3 is new encryption providers are going to. I would suggest you do some reading to get more info on this. Start with Status page which has list of current channels on N3. Lots of info out there, just have to do some reading.
