uspostman is correct that a different site is claiming a fix will be released very soon at there site.

Let me get this straight, a person with 2 posts breaks the news here about a site that has been down since the boys were arrested, now they are back up claiming to have a fix soon. Seems to me it would be a great place for the boys with dark sunglasses to gather some great intel.

My 2 cents, what do you guys think (is it breaking the law to download a file or to get caught using it)???

I don't believe dish employees any "coders". They would be supplied with the encrytion system by the Kudelski Group . Kinda like a software maintaince deal.

Phibui... understand something bro.. there is more providers out there in the euro area... in the US.. there isnt but 2. In the Euro area, N3 came out a long time ago.. BUT... the other providers DID NOT go to N3.. thus.. there was no need to work on getting past the N3 encryption. They just all swapped over to the other providers still using N2...

Now again, Dave went to N3 and what did everyone do ??? Yep.. you got it right.. they went to the only other provider that was easily fixed.... Now that all the providers in the US have gone to N3 and most in the Euro area has also gone to N3 (do not get me wrong.. not all of them have), its much more in demand to get past the N3. The more that go to N3, the more the demand comes into play and more will want to figure it out.

Its a money game at the moment for some, and a sit back, read this post for others.

Go outside and split wood for the winter ladies/gents.. its going to be a decent wait. Something (notice I said something.. could be N3 fix or something completely different) will come along soon for us to tinker around with...

Dave did not go to N3 but the P4. The European version of N3 is totally different than ours so it's really of no use here if they crack it there. Some sort of solution will be found but it could be a different one than FTA as the history of this hobby has proved over and over.
