Since you asked.....Actually they were running great in the beginning too. They had a few bumps in the road but even still they were a great competitor to the so called "iks leader" (nfusion). Kbox started to shine brighter once they did the free upgrade to the Plus. IMO they are far better then the NF or the SV in picture quality and iks stability.

I can not comment on the SV because I do not own one but I can compare Kbox against the supposedly giant in the industry and in my opinion the Kbox is far superior in all ways.
The company cares about the customer by recently upping there guarantee to a full 2 years. This guarantee is probably the best in the industry. The picture and sound is even better than my VS Ultra when my Ultra was up and running. Stability of picture control is amazing with almost no freezing. Setup is very easy. The best bang for the buck in my personal opinion.

Best to read everything u can in all different forums. Then make your decision. I own enforcer dreambox viewsat Nova Kbox and Nfusion Phoenix. Also lots of P3 cards and loaders.

Everybox i have ever owned had its Pro's and Cons. Kick the tires and open the hood of what u r lookin at.

JimBrass, I was not looking for a debate but clearly you are, I can now see you are a kbox pusher and lover, I was only stating facts and MY OPINION but you seem to have taken it to hart when I posted that in MY OPINION I think nfusion has an overall better iks system than others in the market now and for simple reasons of stability, security , support, quality of service(uptime) and products, this is based on MY OBSERVATIONS over many years using fta and I do own a couple of iks receiver's in the kbox and nfusion

yes, they offered the free upgrade and only had a few thousand or so receivers(coolsats) to upgrade at the time, kbox only had to worry about a few thousand units and if they did not offer the upgrade for free then no one would have continued to buy kbox and they would have been dead by now, look the kbox has come a long way but to say that kbox kicks nfusion all over is a very misleading statement and you are not being honest, kbox is not high all mighty when it come to business ethics to say the least, if nfusion had to offer a free upgrade to all original nova owners they would not last and go broke as there are over 100,000 nova's out there and the expense would ruin them, kbox did the only logical thing they could do to survive and (a) offer free upgrade, (b) design a new receiver the Prodigy and the original(coolsat K1 stb) was discontinued and now offer a new incentive of a 2yr warranty to lure more unknowing customers to try and generate more business, in the end we can debate back and fourth, you have your opinion and I have mine, let's agree to disagree, thanks.....

Before I bought my Nova I read about the facts that Neosat Ipro was the original and the coders moved to make their own (neosat) receiver and call it Nova, to make their first money fast, they did a lot, and in the middle time they developed or (continued to develop) the other boxes Nuveniom then Solaris to kill Nova, then Phoenix to left Solaris (also in the dust soon?).

Nova did a good job, but nfusion team keep stating their will support nova... until they droped suddenly.

I didn't notice this before and I keep my Nova until Mac & Cheese, (and sold it for $80 )

Now I am with Kbox, I am very happy with it, but I will say we shouldn't be fever defenders of any FTA manufacturer, only because they say something but for what they actually do.
