JimBrass, I was not looking for a debate but clearly you are, I can now see you are a kbox pusher and lover, I was only stating facts and MY OPINION but you seem to have taken it to hart when I posted that in MY OPINION I think nfusion has an overall better iks system than others in the market now and for simple reasons of stability, security , support, quality of service(uptime) and products, this is based on MY OBSERVATIONS over many years using fta and I do own a couple of iks receiver's in the kbox and nfusion
I had asked a question in an earlier post that you either (a) did not see, (b)choose not to respond to it or (c) have no real answer, the question was, what would be the legitimate reasoning nfusion would have to offer an upgrade program for the nova that could not tie them to third party coders?
any program offered would definetly tie them to third party coders, you say kbox is more stable, ROTFL, nfusion has been around when others were dark including kbox and has a far advanced system (SUNS) than kbox, nfusion has more channels, nfusion opened
A can of worms (nag3) before anyone including kbox, go ask your kbox sources to tell you how kbox tapped into the
a box of worms the first time they made it available for a short period of time to their trustworthy customers if you remember, oh wait, you already now this as you seem to have the inside knowledge no one else has, kbox is your brand and they could do no wrong, what about the whole inception of kbox? were they that stand up and have reliable sources when they were introduced in the market?, the whole kbox debacle was born from a coolsat receiver, you asked and I

Now if the company was going to screw over there customers why did they give a free upgrade receiver and a 2 year guarantee?
|
yes, they offered the free upgrade and only had a few thousand or so receivers(coolsats) to upgrade at the time, kbox only had to worry about a few thousand units and if they did not offer the upgrade for free then no one would have continued to buy kbox and they would have been dead by now, look the kbox has come a long way but to say that kbox kicks nfusion all over is a very misleading statement and you are not being honest, kbox is not high all mighty when it come to business ethics to say the least, if nfusion had to offer a free upgrade to all original nova owners they would not last and go broke as there are over 100,000 nova's out there and the expense would ruin them, kbox did the only logical thing they could do to survive and (a) offer free upgrade, (b) design a new receiver the Prodigy and the original(coolsat K1 stb) was discontinued and now offer a new incentive of a 2yr warranty to lure more unknowing customers to try and generate more business, in the end we can debate back and fourth, you have your opinion and I have mine, let's agree to disagree, thanks.....
