I don;t believe any IKS boxes are working as far as a dual tuner is concerned. The single IKS connection can not support 2 tuners.

Most of what I have read is that the dual tuners will work one at a time but you can't record one and watch another unless you are recording the one your watching.

yes, sonicview elite has the dual tuner option available, not sure if it requires two separate sat cables to take advantage of the dual tuner but do know that you can record one program and watch a different one at the same time, although it might have to be on the same transponder as the channel you are recording, not sure about that, hopefully someone who has one can let us know for sure...

Thumbs up

I have an sonicview elite and yes its a duel tuner and you do need to run two cables from your dish to take advantage of the tuner abilities. I have had no problem recording on one sat while watching on another. and yes its iks. Hope this info helps!!

I have been looking around at some other info. It seems that the sonic view freezes so much that it is unwatchable. Are the any other dual tune IKS boxes out there?

Thanks

Sonicview 360 Elite is the only IKS Receiver that has Dual Tuner. Yea I have a Sonicview 360 Elite, I record and watch another channel at the same time. I don't need 2 cables from the dish to the receiver.

I also Attach a Diagram of how one cable from the dish connects to a DPP Separator for Dual Tuner, then from the DPP Separator two cables go to the Sonicview Elite.

This is Exactly what I have, You see one cable that comes from the dish. connects to the DPP Separator, then from the DPP Separator the 2 cables connect to the Sonicview 360 Elite.
