Thinking back

Nfusion kept promising us a stand alone but the never came to be. I owned a nova from the beginning and to my the best of my recollection there was only one standalone released. Whenever i asked about one i was bombarded with Just be happy your watching tv -

they kbox will blow the doors off any of the nfusion line minus the nfusion HD.
why you might think of getting a nfusion hd is dish has whole channel line up ready in mpeg4,which is the only reason the nfusionhd box will be better later as you wont need to ugrade to another box but you will have to add a tuner. as kbox dont do mpeg4.
So while kbox pro is better then all the lower end nfusion, the hd fusion is only one that will beat the kbox pro with the add of about 200 or better price tag.......... nfusion has not stepped up there hd working channels yet,so why invest in a fusion hd,when iam sure the kbox team is working on there HD unit and again will be better then the fusion HD.

waitin for the KboxHd

So at the end of the day....Kbox or Nfusion? I've seen an Nfusion and nearly wanted to throw it out the window after having to toggle channels all the time to get the one i wanted. There were no ppv, no sport ppv. Does the Kbox have PPV or anything else that the Nfusion does not have? I don't care about picture quality as I've spent the last three months watching fuzzy, snowy local channels with my bunny ears antenna. Which has more variety of channels?

Thats a choice you have to make for yourself. The thread is only to help.
No iks reciever has PPV... there is one or two that have a couple PPV but you only get them as long as the coders are willing to pay ...

Kbox has had the UFC and other sport events.
Could be wrong but afaik Kbox has the most internationals.

I have both boxes I love my K-BOX it's a great receiver with no freezing that being said there is no comparison between these two boxes NFHD because of the HD PICTURE is far superior. I also want to say which no one commented on is the NFHD receives almost all of the HD CHANNELS on the unmentionable provider. Nothing like watching the NFLST and the WORLD SERIES in HD. I would also like to point out the NFHD cost twice as much as the K-BOX but if you want HD it is money well spent. As far as JimMrBass and his comparison between these two boxes IT IS A TOTAL JOKE. Anyone who would tell you that the SD picture on the K-BOX is almost the same quality as the NFHD is either blind or has some kind of agenda and is doing the members of this site a great disservice. I would like to add if your not looking for a HD BOX then K-BOX would be the correct choice.

I also just got my Kbox yesterday and it was setup and connected in under an hr. Was working fine till I bought and added a netgear 5 port sw so I could also run my SV8000HD. really throw a wrench in the works but I'm confident after reading several posts I will be able to recover it tonight after work. As for the Picture on the Kbox, after only a couple of hours mind you I find it comparable to my cnx mini but not as good as my SV. Either of them. Happy so far. Surprisingly enough, after loosing the connection with Kbox (my fault) and going back to SV for three hrs it only froze twice. Thats a new record

disagree is your right but kbox has better record, play mp3,better picture over all the lower end nfusion.nfusion may have a little more channels but fusion right now has major glitching issues on channels where kbox box does not.ill throw you another a ball to kick off that nfusion sleeps due to darkness also.

not stuck on one either its from true testing of each.
