Ok I think I get it. If it has been crackedby a certain group, and some time ago as 1 post puts it, then logically then others have cracked it as well. We all know thats what happens. So all these groups are keeping it private so???? oh yeh the stb thay cracked it for and the manufactures can go out of business due to lack of sales. Then they can make it public and deal with the ecm like they always have but without funding because there are no manufactures left....Makes perfect sence now!

Well that puts a different light on it that I didnt see before. And I'm sorry if I didn't see where you had posted that before. But that does make sence that I can accept. But, If they got it I dont see why eventually the FTA coders wont get it. Just may take them more time. JMO

they also have to learn how to emulate the map calls....which means they need to reverse engineer the processor.
Or whatever they need to do I don't know much about anything. This is one thing the plastic people don't have to do and rest assured most won't give FTA the time of day. remember MAP57...they thought they had the processor emulated fully...and that shut em down for what 4 months? The new CAM will most likely have a bunch more timing/map whatever security features on it to foil FTA. and while were on the subject Viewsat (not bashing speaking truth) has been lying to their customers for years. nvrmnd....

The one thing that NO ONE can dispute.... DJ tells it like it is! Whether we like to hear it or not.
DJ,you can play as if you don't know what a map call is..however, we know the truth.Blinky and SignalSnatcher have been preaching it for months.And so have you .We need to face the facts, that with the court cases,and investigations going on,standalone is far off.Free tv'ers need to sub.IKS/ICS is for those that won't to live life on the edge. Plastic is where it is and always has been. Members here (and other sites) have lived life on the good side too long.Just as us as Americans have had everything handed to us.It's time that we stand upright and face life.We work and learn...or we loaf and starve! THERE IS NO SANTA....NO EASTER BUNNY...LIfe is about learning. Damien...I couldn't agree with you more. At least you have the guts to speak you're mind. More of us should do it...within the rules of the site. My apologies to anyone that maybe offended....however,enough is enough!!
