But if you want to start reading up on something then I would start with emulation (EMU)

They can only ECM what is publically provided.

i'm no really in the know on anything,but have heard alot of rumors about hacked cards for both providers,haven't seen any of it first hand,but what i do believe is that Blinky must be burning plastic again cause he talking alot lately,getting high off fumes,ahhh the good ole day huh?LOL.just joking Blinky,but i do agree plastic will be first to go public eventually.

I believe he can contact the big players (FTA) let them know about the plastic fix and then leave all to the fta coders to reverse engineer the stuff.
In that way he can make money as well as the fta will be back too.
But what you can do, if he is happy with 100$ and sacred enough to contact big guys.

Or am I losing some here. There has been a private fix for Dave,so some say,for years. There has been a filter,so some say, for cable for years. Maybe there is a guy in a cave somewhere with a fully opened card. But as long he stays in the cave with his card in his pocket there is no fix. Maybe i will let some one come to my house and watch my sub and i will tell them i got a fully opened card too. In the real world just maybe nag3 is not going to be hacked. If that is true -those are the breaks. Anybody ever heard of the saying that " The best way to catch a Thief is to hire a Thief". For nag3 you got to believe former hackers were hired to make it as unhackable as possibe. Just maybe this is the end of Rocko-lol. Ego,hackers love to beat the system. Money and bragging rights would keep a private fix not private for long.

Yes you are correct-the DTV hack has remained private for all this time.

internet not TV? How is a private fix helping us. Its like when i was in the war. We had weapons but the guy with the key to the ammo was on R&R in Bangkok-lol

This is also a war. The FTA manufacturers have the weapons but the hackers have the ammo and the key. The ammo won't be unlocked until the manufacturers disapear so start reading up on EMU.
