If you scan and get E*h*8/10, this is beacuse you are pointing the E*h*8/10. Go back to scan this dish with E*h*8/10 instead, and you should get the channels for E*h*8/10.

E*h* 7 signal is much narrow than E*h* 8/10, so you need to turn your dish further to get the E*h* 7.

Once you get the E*h* 7. You can try the Ani* F3. Go back and add one Ani* F3 transponder. Make sure you get quality on F3 transponder and do a scan with network search on. After that, you need to go back to that transponder and see which network it gets.

On my sonicview, it got Ani* E1. I have to go to the satellite Ani* E1 and add the transponders and do a rescan at Ani* E1. This should add all the channels with EPG and channel names. The trick here is to put the transponder at the right satellite. This happens on SonicView.

Thanks for the feed. I need to turn the dish a bit more to pin ec7

Now, any ideas where the "blind scan" option could be...I can't find it anywhere!

For me, I didn't use blind scan. I just added one transponder (from lyngsat) and do a satellite scan. It found all the transponders. Mine has a blind scan option but I didn't use that. Just do a satellite scan.

I still confused... I have 2 dishes ..

18" for 110,119
30 or 33" (not quite sure) for 121 (with a universal LNP )

I am assume I can just re-aim the 30" dish and rescan the 118 sat. after I mod the universal LNB. slip trick.

My intension is to use use "separate LNP for the 118 sat" (delete any duplicated channels)

Current Setup:

Universal LNP ---> 3x4 Switch --- going to 4 different boxes

My friend who has a standard Linear LNP, would he be able to do the same? (I'm assume that he can but not get all the TPs on 118)

u can not use the universal lnb......

u need the special lnb that is in the market that gives u 118 and 119 together.....

if u have a 33" dish, then u can get 118 119 110 in that dish with 2 lnbs......118 and 119 lnb must be in the middle....

u can use a bracket for 110 or strap it to the other lnb

help! converted a superdish 121 - changed the 121/119 LNB with a CB2008A LNB. Problem is since then, all channels are scrambled, including channels from 110. I rescanned, factory default (using CW600P), enabled patch, etc. NO luck. my settings are :
118.7 - diseq 1, 10750, manually added TP's; it catches all the channels but quality is about 30%
119 - diseq 2, 10750, standard LNB, has excellent quality, but all scrambled
110 - diseq 3, 11250, DishPRO LNB, excellent signal but all scrambled.

I am using the DP34 switch.
any suggestions? thanks

I was using the DP34 switch, and scanned 119W. I got all the international channels by no pictures. So I switch it to 4X1 Switch and the channels come back. May be the 118.7W signal too weak that DP34 won't capture the signals.

CB2008 is not DP compatible.. it is a lagcy lnb and therefore can't be used with DP switches.
