FTA Receiver Models and their Clones ...I saw this elsewhere and thought it was a good idea......LETS keep this alive and updated....TY

Receiver Models and their Clones:

We do not condone clones. Personally, I believe they are more trouble than they are worth, but there are members who have inadvertently purchased them and should not be punished for it.

This is a young living document. If you have any information on other clones or corrections to the list, please post it on this thread and we will update the list.

yeah sonicsat has a koolsat. It accepts the coolsat 4000 files. That was my first one.

I have Pansat 2700-N2
it is realy dump, i buy 100$, and work only a 5 day... and now they can't eccept any upgrde, how i go na upgrde...?

are the viewsat extremes legal in the USA?

FTA recievers as of right now are legal everywhere as free to air recievers.
Unless you install modified files on it it can only get the free sats so nothing illegal about that.

i have a sonicsat x-00cl reciever. what files should i be using and what is the newest bin that i need to be using. im kinda new with this system. thank you for helping if anyone can

Might try posting in the coolsat forum, I believe sonicsat is a variation(clone) of coolsat. Not sure about the model, but if there is help, it would be in this forum. Good luck.
