You get what you pay for..Clones are just that..There's little or no firmware support for them, that is why most folks are getting REAL STBs...Ask Blacklist or Mr.VS about that...I got one PS 2700 clone still working and I dont know why...Just my thoughts on clones

Question To buy clone or not to buy clone

You get what you pay for, is absolutely correct. Running 2-vs2000 extreme original with great support. Is there support for clones? Nothing beats the quality and support of the original. Heard many frying stories of clones and also people thinking they ordered an original vs2000 extreme just to receive a clone { from some dealers} I wish they would drop off a cliff. I have always dealt with an authentic viewsat dealer. There are lots of discussions on clones. No card reader, funky switch on back etc, etc, etc. Buyer beware. Just my 2 CDN cents worth. Keep the clones at bay ,buy original.

You have it wrong about coders. They are making it harder. That is why the bins are bigger because the script has more decoding. Models like Pansat 2500 do not have enough memory... ram. Look for models like Viewsat Ultra that have 32mg or something with a good processor and ram.
