Its that time of year. Check you switches!!

Before you start posting a million thread stating you've lost channels on a particular sat check your switches!
It is the time of year moisture ruins switch's and LNB's.

HEADS UP!!

Keep mine under the eaves so dry, if mine got wet inside they would explode!

very good proactive post Damien666. Without doubt now is the time when switches will fail. Consider silicon, small weatherproof cases even ziplocks to keep them dry

another quick cover is to take a butter dish lid and cut the edge off then cover ytour switch and throw a few small nails at the top and bottom to hold it in place, works real nice.the sow and rain run right off.

My switches have always been inside, but I think they died. Tried all three of my switches, I know I have a good Signal and Quality. ( I was using and Extreme and worked perfectly and switched to a VS 9000HD, that is when I started having problems ) But when I use one of my switches it shows no Signal or Quality for both my Sats. Another Switch will show good Signal and Quality for only 1 Sat on all 4 PORTS! ( and nothing for the second Sat ) I don't even remember what the 3 switch did. Are these switches dead? Is there one you would recommend for the VS 9000HD???

Rad shak won't know what you're talking about. Order them from sat suppliers. Google Chieta & see what you come up with.
