Well the way it is now most likely if you're getting DN 110º and 119º the locals on there are "subscriber" based channels....in other words available (or supposed to be available) to subscribers of DN only. You can still get locals...probably not your locals in your area depending on where you live BUT you will need a bigger dish and a special lnb called a "linear" lnb to receive them after N3 is fully implemented. Your box was set up originally to work with this type of lnb that is actually the way the manufacturer expects you to use it. Oh and of course you would move your dish off the 110º or 119º orbital location to a new position such as.....123º. That is just one of many satellites that you can get free content ALL the time but requires the bigger dish and the special "linear" lnb.

The solution is simple to me but maybe I missed something. forget cracking the signal.
intercept the encryption delivery system. The Smart card with a card interceptor program. Which I obtained at another fta site. The encryption must be received by each and every customer, or they have no service thus no revenue. lets concentrate on card intercept programs. no code is unbreakable need to think outside the box. Have 20 years experience at electronic intelligence has taught me that.
adapt and overcome semper fi

you guys do great work wish i was computer savy

Great post blinky.
But can you expand on the true Fta. What size dish I need and what is linear LNB, is the current orientation on the present gish the same as true FTA needs.
This would help us transition into this true FTA reception
