Ten Commandments of FTA
A friend emailed me this info and I thought it was worth posting here. I think the info will be very helpful to our new members and those members that have recently started in the fta hobby. Ten Commandments of FTA 1. The keys are the same no matter what receiver you have. 2. If autoroll quits working, turn off auto roll and enter the keys manually until the next fix. Do not panic!! 3. If you only receive the free/preview channels, then most likely the keys are wrong. 4. If epg guide does not work, check your time, date and time zone. 5. When loading bins, make sure you have unzipped the bin, are using the correct loader and are loading the correct bin for the receiver 6. High signal strength (>60) is most important when you are aligning the dish. Quality strength is what is most important to see a picture. If quality is low then you need to re-align (or tweak) the dish. 7. When setting up a dish 500, adjust elevation and azimuth for one sat. To receive the second sat should only require a skew adjustment. 8. Fta receivers cannot be damaged from the satellite signal. The receiver only RECEIVES, and DECODES (or descrambles) the signal. The service providers cannot 'ZAP' or damage your fta receiver in any way. 9. The wrong bin CAN damage your receiver....hence BE CAREFUL to use the right bin, and DO NOT experiment with other bins out of frustration, or you may end up with a great looking doorstop. 10. There is no best receiver or best company for fta receivers. They all do what they were intended to do....pick up fta signals.A modified receiver is only as good as its support group. |

Creo que la info será muy útil a nuestros nuevos miembros y a aquellos miembros que han iniciado recientemente en esta hobby Diez Mandamientos del FTA 1. Las llaves son las mismas no importa que unidad tengas 2. si no funciona el autoroll, apágalo y pon las llaves manualmente hasta que llegue el siguiente arreglo/ No se Desesperen 3. Si solo recibes los canales libres lo mas probable es que tienes las llaves mal 4. Si no funciona tu EPG revisa tu Hora, Fecha y Zona horaria 5. Cuando cargues un Bin, asegúrate haber de enzipado el archivo, utilizar el cargador correcto y estar cargando el Bin adecuado para tu aparato 6. Alta cantidad de (Signal) señal (mas de 60) es muy importante cuando estas alineando el plato La cantidad de (Quality) Calidad es lo mas importante para ver figuras. Si la calidad es baja entonces necesita realinear o ajustar el plato 7. Cuando instales un Dish 500, ajusta la elevación y el azimut para un satélite , para recibir el otro sat solo ajusta el (skew) la rotacion del plato 8. Los receptores de satélite no pueden dañarse de la señal de satélite. El receptor solo recibe y decodifica la señal. Los proveedores de servicio no pueden zapear o dañar su receptor de ninguna manera 9. El Bin equivocado puede dañar su receptor….así que TEN CUIDADO de usar el Bin adecuado, y no experimentes con otros Bins solo por frustración, o terminaras con un vistoso detenedor de puertas 10. No hay ningún mejor recibidor o mejor compañía para un receptor fta. Todos hacen la funciona para lo que fueron hecho……..recibir señales de fta. Un recibidor modificado es tan bueno como su grupo de apoyo
