Galaxy 3c (95W linear bird) has the RTN ( Race Track Network) channels. Horse racing and Greyhounds. You need current keys ( key8) but it's obtainable with the right bin file. I can get it with my Mercury II and bin 7.53. Emunation also works with it, if you have a DVB PCI setup.

I can't tell you about the Viewsat. I only know that the Merc II bin is sufficiently configurable to set up the keys . I've also gotten the channels on my DVB PCI setup, setting the keys and RSA key in the softcam.key file. Keys are available at TVkeys.com .
The keys are 8 byte keys, as opposed to 16 byte keys we see a lot of. Probably Nag1, is my guess. If you can enter a Key8 in your Platinum, then I'd do that, and see what happens. Many receivers don't have an explicit provision for key8 . Good luck.

Dishdigger do you think a pansat 2700a will work to obtain the Race Track Network? What satellite dish and lnb would be needed to obtain these channels and is it galaxy 3 c where you point to in order to obtain the race track network? the 8 byte keys you're talking about are just the first 8 keys from the 16 on tvkeys?

My mistake, the RTN keys are at dssfeedback . Tvkeyz does not have them that I can find. You'd need a 30" dish minimum, linear lnb . Galaxy 3c is at 95W, not far from ***** 1 . The 8 byte keys are actually only 8 bytes, not 16 bytes, and on my Merc II , enter as key8 in the setup.

Yes, it still works. I had to Google to find the keys and CAID, Provider ID, but the info is out there.
