dave sent me a letter saying they are sueing me for having a receiver working at my house that came from my sister . how do they know it is there. i don't have the phone line pluged n

WOW are you serious they are starting that sh!t again??? I'd throw it in the trash and deny, deny and deny some more. I don't think theres any way they can prove you have a receiver in your home.

If no phone line and no satellite internet there is no way for them to know. Unless someone told them. I would take it out and tell them to prove it.

Having a dish in your back yard or on the roof does not prove you are using it.

I would not responed back to the letter , i would ignore any mail or letters from DTV. RESPONDING back to any letter or letters is a admission of GUILT.

i don't remember seeing in the contract anything about all the receivers having to stay in a particular house..........either way, the DRTV bill is being paid for that particular receiver.....also: how in the heck did they get your name,address??????????...only way is that someone ratted you out..........

I would think that whoever's name and address that subscribes to DTV would be the one getting the letter, they are responsible for the contract and equipment.... sounds fishy to me....
