post election post

Now that the Canadian election is over and we've voted ourselves right back to the same place we started, it'll soon be time for you guys south of the border to have a turn. Wishing you a less silly time than we had, here's a link for you

Starting to look like we're about to vote ourselves right back to the same place we started too or worse.
Our choices are so bad I'm amost thinking of not voting this year.

Does it really matter who gets in - both countries are screwing themselves anyway. It is the bureaucrats and the lobbyists that run everything anyway. All a politician can do is say ya or nay on a bill or a law - when you really think about it.

You're not alone in this sentiment-anyone who wants the job should be automatically disqualified.
Is it true that US voters can write in a different candidate of their own choosing without spoiling their ballot?

Just a note about the write in in case anyone does a write.
The write in person has to be registered in your state and you have to wrtie it in exactly the way that person is registered.
Example I'm thinking that if I do vote I may write in Ron Paul but I can't just write Ron Paul it has to be Ronald Ernest Paul.
Check with you local election office.

Another thought is to write in Mickey Mouse I think he would do a better job than the two other choices.LOL

Thanks for clarifying-I obviously took the wrong meaning for "write in" -had been wondering if the person who told me about it was losing it
