I dont "think" anything can be dun without a search warrant in either country but I was wrong once, maybe twice b4. Never know what the long arm of the law can do these days.

A certain northern provider can't even be picked up in most of the US due to a change in footprint. DN is not who you should be worrid about in Canada as they will take your money with no problem as long as they are provided with a US address. The FCC doesn't need a search warrant and can kick your door in whenever they want to so cardsharing users beware!

Legal Issues

Strict liability for a defective product placed into the stream of commerce due to:
a. design defect, or
b. warning label defect
Intent is irrelevant; the mere fact that a product w/ design defect or warning label defect is released into commerce, means the manufacturer or distributor is liable for the damage it causes.

You may also have product liability/negligence for:
a. failure to warn
b. failure to inspect/test
c. breach of implied warranty (fitness for particular purpose, or warranty of merchantability)

You're actually not supposed to be viewing any provider outside their intended countries viewing area. I've looked this up concerning DN for some other posters at other sites and the law actually is that because of "licensing issues" DN is NOT allowed to be viewed in Canada or Mexico at least. I think I read something about some of those people reselling DN being shut down. DN makes you have a U.S address to activate...the minute you circumvent that because you live in Canada or Mexico then your contract with them is invalid and you are no longer authorized to receive their programming.

In Canada it is illegal to recieve/subscribe to any provider other than a Canadian one, less ota & true fta of course. Don't recall what year but grey market ruled against by Supreme Court.
So it is illegal to be viewing D**h in Canada, pirate or sub, but can they charge you as a " Pirate".lol

I don't know what "home" is about but I'm not clicking on it and I suggest you remove it. It sounds like another ad trying to sell internet TV which is already free.
