I do know this is true , FreeTech/Coolsat has agreed to pay the provider $ 106,000,000.00 to settle the case , as well as many other concessions they agreed to no longer undertake , this will include any other companies , the three owners mentioned in the documents , may have any ties to , that involves Satellite television reception

im not sure exactly the specs of the investigation, but it seems alot of the defendants in some of these cases have become very complacent, open and sometimes almost advertising all their info to anyone who asks, i certainly don't have all the answers but i think they should be a little more discreet and carefull with who or what they are dealing with, dicknet would have a hell of a time putting 2 and 2 together if that were the case.

It could very well be true BUT...please provide a non live link to a court/legal website (not hacking forum site) where these documents can be found. I can say the sky is purple...but it doesn't make it so.
They are certainly NOT listed at justia where I can see all other sat related court documents. Signed by who ...or what? It also uses a nice colorful electronic seal which NO court I know of ever uses. IF this is true, Freetech was pretty much done anyway, and this would end the legal fees for them and the individuals named before a probable bankruptcy. This is not a win for Echostar, it is merely an end to legal fees in this matter. They can't get blood from a turnip, and the judgment in this case has no weight in other cases because it was not ruled on in a trial. It is merely a settlement.
