Stacked 4619/4053 chips

This was made up for powersynch unlockers but can be used on others.

i like this mod. my question, does the pot settings remain at 2.2k for both chips? i currently have a 1k pot...but i can get a 5k to replace it with...

i found what i was looking for. all you have to do...is read before you ask a question...so i going to sit in the corner for awhile....

No, the pot settings were never actually at 2.2k. rev 103-105 uses the 4053 chips and a pot setting somewhere around 30 ohms. 106-1088 uses 4619 and a pot setting of 120 -150 ohms. It varies with each pc/loader setup.

Has anybody attempted to do this on a green board T911, which has the chips surface mounted? It would seem that it could be done, but it would require a VERY steady hand, a good lighted magnifier, and extreme care in lifting pin 6 on both chips. I'd like to give it a whirl, but I don't see where pin 6 on both of the "stock" 4053 chips are connected on the T911.

I think the pad for pin 6 uses a pass through to the bottom of the board. You may have to run a wire from beneath. I'll look at it closer. I have a T911 with all of the components removed.

take from back of the board, all are the sabe , if you dont find in fron , just use fron yhe back, easy, i mede easy on my t911 green board, blue case

What if I just remove 4053 from green board T911 and pleased 4619 instead?
What do we need 4053 for?

Sometimes the 4053 will open the older revisions faster and more efficiently than the 4619
