Auto Tracking Mobile Dishes

I would have put this in the product review section but I have not used one and would like to hear if anyone has used these type dishes and their opinion on them.

Our site sponsor Transat has marked down these dishes almost half price and topped it off with free shipping. These dishes are very expensive and I just thought I would pass this along when I saw it. They have a model that is for stationary use as well as a model for in motion use.

The dome dishes are being phased out because most of todays technology is based off of HD programing. At my work I just found out that all of the domes except for the KVH(supposedly) are in big trouble. KVH domes have a Com port to down load software updates. I was told that all of the domes are not able to pick up daves new birds(99 and 103). These domes where only programed to pick up 101, 110, 119 and a few other sats(ku band). They do not have the ability to even search for the new birds(ka band).

Thats why the prices are dropping IMO. They are dropping everywhere.

I would like to know who manufactures the domes on that link. It seems to be a no namer.

the brand name is WIWORLD. will fill u in when I get it going. It don't even come with a manual, so Ill see what I can find out

theres a comp called fallow me tv. that do's a great job traking. I use it on my sail boat wine I'm at anker or sailing. the only troble is that it brakes down once a year it seems and the cost of the sistom is aqbout 900.00 dollers and can cost 119.00 to 600.00 to fix depending on what brook

I have a v-qube that you can put on top of your truck, table, boat, or just the ground. I use it also for tailgating, fishing and when I go out of town.
I got several buds together and $$ dave for a 4 room setup, so If we live within 10 miles of the main house, we all get dave for 1/4 of the price.
So when I got my v-qube I called and order a motorhome receiver($5) extra, and told them that Iam using a v-qube and howlong will they work with dave. because of the new birds for hd, the person said along as I dont upgrade to
the new hd receiver, that the v-qube and receiver will work for several years.
Or until they stop charging people for HD programing and make it all one price. One more thing, i can't use my qube inmotion.
