You may run into problems by mentioning canadian providers.
And what is dp??

He was not discussing the decryption of that provider.
If you look the whole thread is about that provider but it's only news discussion of the launch.

Rule #1 is really about the discussion of the decryption (stealing) their signal.

As for DP I think he is talking about Dish Pro dish and lnb since both providers will be sharing this sat.

yes, I was thinking Dish Pro. so far everything has been legacy here. and sorry for mentioning trouble, I figured we were discussing their new satellite .. but knowing them, they will probably just start using SW64 and such, instead of the DP equivalents

EchoStar which had previously contracted for half the capacity of Telesat’s new nimi@ 5 satellite, has now committed to use the entire available nimi@ 5 payload for the anticipated 15-year life of the satellite. Btw, Telesat is the owner of Anik F3 (118.8w).

Hi cjeffh1,

I just completed a blind scan at 72.7W, and didn't find TV-Land either. The bird shows up as "Echostar 72.7 West", with a good strong signal from TP-12341R, SR-19996, LNB Freq. 11250.

The scan found 40 FTA channels, and none of them gave me a picture, likely because the signals are in MPEG-4, and/or HD format. My CS7000 won't process either (MPEG-2 only). This may be your problem too.

I'm using an Invacom QPH-031 on a 90cm pan with a STAB HH90 motor, hooked up to the CS-7000. PanSat-2700A on standby.

Does anybody know if the new *****-5 is putting out any signals yet?

Hope this helps. Good Luck.
