WOW very interesting read there. I like how they say (1) is primarily designed... (2) has only limited commercially significant purpose.... With that vague language it sounds like they are grasping at straws and inserting their own legalize there. Then they say how he's not allowed to even so much as look at a satellite receiver? Kind of reminds me of a buddy that wound up in prison one time for "larceny by conversion". Something to do with credit cards. The state denied him the right to his livelihood by saying that he couldn't be a salesman (which he was by trade) because it involved him handling and processing customers credit cards. Now what is this poor guy supposed to do if he is maybe a legitimate receiver dealer? I got an idea lets deny him his livelihood and maybe he can go on welfare and become a burden to his community....yeah thats it...great idea!!! Unbelievable!!!

I was a Supermod at a site mentioned in the judgment. I also posted this information on a few sites I still Supermod at. All I will say on this matter is that it is going to cost the gentleman a great deal of time and money no matter what the final outcome may be. I also feel that they may be now taking legal action against the owners of the sites mentioned and other release sites. This is just my personal opinion for whatever it is worth and not that of anyone else associated with DSSRookie.

most of the sites mentioned in the briefs are not in this country, so how can a court take action against information produced from another nation, is the govt blocking access on the internet?? also we can now see why these site are not aviable. GGGrrrrrr

They can take legal action against the owners of the site if in fact they were release sites. This has been told to me by a very prominent lawyer.

Litigation for this purpose is unrealistic for Charlie and Nag. They may cut off a few heads in the public square and claim victory in the boardroom and to shareholders, but legal action will always remain a financially doomed and ineffective strategy. After nag3 is fully implemented and fully exploited, the bean counters will regain control and legal will be back on hind tit where they belong. My guess is the one that gave the nod for the card swap in the first place...will be the next head to roll.

Sad Day This Does Not Look Good

Read the 2 pdf files and then decide for yourself.

This is the lawsuit brought by DN and NagraStar brought against Phillip Allison for providing illegal unathorized reception of DN signals.

Please also read the judgement and then you will understand why some sites are no longer operating.

either way, charlie will make the board members and stock holders think they are saviours anyway..thats why we are still getting those pesky map changes...keeping the shareholders happy by DN saying "we're doing our part to circumvent the decryption, but the satellite pirates are still viewing, and its all Allison's fault..everything in the whole pirate community can be blamed on him, and now we can rest easy"

They'll put the whole burden on that one guy, no matter how many hundreds are involved.
