Stats from back when I first joined (march 2005). Man i just cant believe the things that have changed between then and now. I used to access rookie with dialup, and of all the sites i knew of back then (which wasnt many), rookie was the fastest for dialup to load..A bud of mine came over one day, and we were setting up my first IRD (2700) with an atmega 128..and I asked him where he found this stuff to read and learn, and he said "go here...www.dssrookie.com" and join. So I did..and that was 4 years ago..look at hows its changed and look at what we are about to change to (new server). Come a long way rookie, glad I was along for the ride..been alot of memories, and I still have PM's from SkoalSpitter in 2005 where I asked for atmega help..it was THAT long ago, and he told me what i needed to do..

i heard that the fta recivers now will not work for much longer does any body know about this?and if so is anyone coming out with new fta recivers

Did you happen to notice where you were posting when you clicked on reply? This topic has NOTHING to do with FTA receivers working, or anything of the sort.

Why's everyone jacking this thread with unrelated replies? This is 1yr and 4month old thread, and people are introducing themselves in it and 'just saying hi'
