I went back to my tech supplier and bought an antenna capable of receiving HD Digital signals that are OTA, or Over The Air. With the switch over from Analog to Digital forced in the United States and chosen by many stations in Canada, regular channels like NBC, CBS, ABC, CBC, CTV, Omni 1 and 2, Global, CityTV and many more, are available free and with incredible clarity.
The antenna cost $25, external and sits on my balcony beside my dish.
When the dish comes back I'm ready, but in the meantime, there are lots of shows available for the kids and I.

Why don't you guys back off and let the coders do their jobs they have told you if and when there is a fix it will be posted on rookie. and anyways Opps! has been down a long time and there is not a fix yet so get real and wait and hope that is all we can do

FTA may be dead, it remains to be seen, but testing will continue in some form. Of this I am certain although it could require a totally different method and equipement. When something does break, you'll hear about it at Rookie so stay tuned!

As I said earlier, the coders CANNOT do their job until the G3 card is hacked. It's been 6 months since these cards were available for testing and nothing yet. But I'm convinced that if the card is hacked, its secrets will be sold to a high bidder and coders can then go to work on a fix. Until then, don't blame the coders.

Many have said the Nag3 want ever be broken but from what i have read that's not really the main problem. Its that very very very few people in the world have the expertise or equipment to reverse engineer smart cards. Then their is the decoding of the info in it's memory and how the new cards word etc. Once this is done then the Nag3 can be broken are a work around of some kind.
