Cool Amazed

i am amazed at how people when speaking of cracking NAG 3 use the phrase "if it is built by man it can be broken by man".... But yet when it comes to IKS/ICS, they throw this logic out the window and accept the "line" fed to them by those who setup these type of networks. They say they are 100% safe...LOL now I am not suggesting that is what SV is doing. But we are all aware of how nFusion particularly, have always said "our servers are 100% safe. Yet they then implement the ability to run "proxies" which are about as effect as putting a $1.99 padlock on your houses front door and saying... "there all secure" as you leave for work. Yes that padlock will keep out those who are already honest, but not anyone determined to steal your stuff. Just as I won't trace your IP, (as i don't have an interest in having it), doesn't mean that those, (provider's), who do want it won't get it.

My best advice is read read read, all you can about networks and IKS/ICS then make your OWN decision, and don't just accept what your being told by those who have a "vested interest" in having you buy and use their products. Let's face it their primary concern is selling you their products NOT securing your privacy...

Well.... The way I see it is.... If i were to get caught, what are they really going to do? a $2500 fine and confiscate my box? ooohhh I'm soo scared. For what I have recieved for free for how long, it seems like a worthwile trade off. I'll just buy another setup the day after I pay the fine and be up and testing again. When I think about how much Dish would have ripped me off to make their profit, It would be at least 3 times the cost of the fine.

Dont you think that they would send you a bill for the signal you have not been paying for

For what package and for how long. It is up to the plaintiff fo provide the burden of proof. Prove how long I recieved the signal. If you can only prove it since IKS than that is alot less than the fine.
