Here is a NEW contest for the GREAT members here at ROOKIE. The rules and entry requirements are listed below the contest is NOW open until 23 Dec 2008.


Transat Electronics have generously donated the following prizes for our members. PLEASE be sure to visit their website as they have SEVERAL charities which are being supported and they NEED our support. The website with photos of the prizes are at the bottom of this post.

1. A K-Box K1 PLUS receiver, WITH one set of powerline wireless adapters.

2. a STAB HH-90 Motor.

3. ONE 13 pc professional cable tool kit.

Transat is for the month of Dec 01 - 23 Dec, running a charity FOOD Drive at all SIX locations. To enter the contest a member will be permitted to submit ONE guess as to the TOTAL amount of food collected. Simply add your post to this thread stating my guess is XXXXXXX pounds of food.

On December 23rd, Transat Electronics will advise as to the total amount collected.

CONTEST RULES:

1. The member whose guess is CLOSEST to without going over, the CORRECT amount will be awarded the FIRST prize. Your entry MUST state the TOTAL amount of food collected in POUNDS

2. In the event that more than ONE winning guess is submitted, then the tie breaker will be based upon the time of the posts submission.

3. ANY member who submits more than ONE entry will be disqualified. ONE entry is PER member/IP address. Any member who submits multiple entries via the same IP with multiple user names WILL be disqualified. The contest is open to ALL members of the site INCLUDING staff, (as no ONE knows the answer as yet).

4. The contest is open ONLY to ALL registered members of DSSROOKIE.

5. The awarding of prizes will be at the discretion of DSSROOKIE and all decisions are FINAL.

6. The contest will run from 07 Dec 2008 until 23 Dec 2008.
