Post Canada allows Internet "throttling" as last resort

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's main telecom regulator said on Wednesday it will let Internet service providers slow or "throttle" traffic such as file-sharing that the companies say threatens to overwhelm their networks -- but only as a last resort.

I wonder if they will "Throttle" back the price on the bill for slowing it down.

Canada is well known vacation spot. There are many locations which are very attractive in the surroundings of canada that are great for a family retreat, and this vicinity is a favorite family destination for visitors from all over the United States. These all may be the reasons for "Throttling" of www.skiresorts.com

Cool

They have been secretly doing this for years. Now they can finally admit what they are doing. There is no reason to throttle file sharers because every company has a bandwidth limit. Once you're over that limit, they charge you $2 a Gig. They love it when you exceed your limit. More money to them.
