Need Input (info) on new system

I have been trying to receive RTN off of AMC9 (83.0W). This evening I tried positioning the LNB sligthly differently just to see how much I could change the reception. I tried changing the skew on the LNB and found that it works best at 0. I tried moving the LNB in and out the 1/4" that it's able to move. That did seem to have some effect. I then loosened the screw that holds the LNB to it's mounting arm and put some cardboard under the edge closest to the dish to change the angle (making the LNB aim higher up on the dish).... Wow!!!! what a difference.... Hello Airwolf!!!!! YeeHah!!!

I'm sure this isn't the highest quality dish and it was damaged in shipping (I wish "This End Up" & "Fragile" meant something to the people that drive those brown delivery trucks). Anyhow, now knowing what I do,,,, any suggesgtions on a good dish?????
