Paca, it looks like you're on the right bird, but RTV is sometimes super-picky to tune in and its channels are MUCH lower in strength than the NBC feeds. I've found that I get a max Q level of about 35 (3 bars on my Viewsat) and most days am lucky to get around 25. A single "click" east or west on the motor and the picture becomes unwatchable.
I'm not sure what you mean by "...from ja useing a 8footer". Is that Jamaica? If that's where you are, you're outside the main contour (see h++p://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/amc9_ku.html). I'm in the geographic area that
theoretically should get the strongest signal and if RTV is marginal here, I would imagine it might be even tougher elsewhere.
