viewsat platinum with c-band 4dtv DSR922

Need help, had done a lot of reading but something does not come clear to me; i have a 13 foot mesh BUD (1987) with a 4dtv DSR922, and want to use my viewsat, question is if i will only be using c-band (no Ku) can i just connect it to the fta and from If out to the 922, or do i need some kind of switch.

Connect your viewsat direct from the bud, if the lnb is analog (as i believe) you only can test channles from one polarity ( vertical or horizontal). For viewing channels from both polarities, you need a digital c band lnb.

Ok, don't get it clear, please help me out here: I do have a 4dtv DSR922 sub to only a few channels. It changes from V to H. can I connect as you stated above. don't need a high frequency switch? If I do as you stated from the coax (Bud) to the FTA.
