Unhappy Finding 119...

I've got one dish on 110, been trying for ages to get a lock on 119 with the other. Not sure if I need a larger reflector, the lnb and dish are DN products and it works on any other sat. Can get every other sat except this one. I live on an elevation with a clear view of the south west horizon.

All of my settings are correct (been over it a dozen times), but never get a blip on it.

I'm in the toronto area, anyone else having the same issue?

Need alittle more info. You say you have one dish on 110 and can't get a lock with the other. Are you using 2 dishes or one 18 inch dish with two lnbs? For TO 119 is not far from 110.

2 18" Dishes

Been testing by switching the straight through cable from one to the other dish. Did this to ensure there was enough signal strength before connecting with the splitter.

Are you using a SAT Finder? Often what will happen is when you're looking for 119 the Transponder (TP Freq) setting on the setup screen will be set to a 110 Transponder (usually 12224). If you switch that to 12239 (a 119 transponder) you might have a little more luck. I've been frustrated with this problem before as well.

For 119 don't forget to change your TP freq to 12239 for the meters to work.
