parental control problem !!!!!!!

I instaled new fix on my P_LITE and now parental control stays on.. won't change pin.. every time i change channel it ask me for code ... i had it set at 0000.. but it wont take it, have to use the universal code 3570 to be able to watch a channel.. everytime i change setting:

allblocked
????

everytime i change to :
OFF
on
Unblocked
????

just by changing channels......

anybody have any sugestions ... thanks in advance...

go into the main settings and disable it

do a factory default and rescan channels it should work again with 0000 if not then you would need to do a factory bin install 3 times then reload latest file and rescan and should work again.

Or wait for more post and answers to see what others say.

have not done that ( disable ) so if he did that then would it have the channels open and not locked? he may want them locked but with the pin code work.

also if i put the factory bin it works fine no parental control problems.!!!!

no i change everything to off & unblocked .. then it changes back automaticly...


i even change pin code ..And it says "pincode change susessful" then it won't work.... i have to use 3570 to do anything...

it seems as if you are almost there, how about if load the factory default leave it like that lock the box with the code and see if it works and locks and unlocks with the code.

of course you wont get any channels but if just change the key to get into the menu, if that works then you know the problem is when you put the latest file on the box where the problem comes into play.

its a pain i know or a work around is well put those channels you want locked on a different favorite and lock that favorite to see if that works. then you can see all your movies and when you want to change it change to that favorite put in a code and see if all channels come in.

if that will work ( favorite )
