It ain't lookin' good, fans! Major League Baseball in general and the Yankees in particular have been in an apparent p---ing contest with both the satellite carriers and the cable companies. The tradition of baseball on TV--part of the medium since its inception--seems to be going the way of the dinosaurs; apparently they'd like you to watch the games on the Internet at $15/month.
Luckily some of the games will be on WOR, some on ESPN and some on Fox, so you should be able to get those on DN; the rest will be on the "YES" network. Don't have access to that one? I guess--according to MLB--"tough"!
You can find the schedule at:
h++p://web.yesnetwork.com/schedule/yankees_schedule.jsp
...and for fun, do a Google search with the words "Yankees games on TV"; scroll past the MLB websites that come up and look at all the articles and discussions about this topic. I guess soon we won't be able to prop our feet up and pop a cold one in front of the TV anymore...instead it'll be in front of the computer!
