how to turn off the parental lock

Hi I new to the viewsat so this may sound like a dumb question. But I have a platinum lite and want to turn off the parental lock. It asks for the code for every thing I do. I went into the parental control and switched to off but it keeps staying on is there a secret to this that I haven't figured out yet? thanks

The only reason a code is required is that SOMEONE entered it!
Ask the person who entered it to remove it

LOL ok no I am the owner my kids are all grown up. I have to put it in to do anything. As a matter of fact first I tried the 0000 first like is the one on my ps but and when I called vs they said that is what it should be. But luckily you guys knew about the 3570 code and so now I have to put that in anytime I want to change the channel or anything. I go to the menu and turn off the channel lock and parental lock but for some reason it isn't sticking. What am I missing? thanks guys

OK there is a thread with ALL the keys for ALL boxes do a site search for passwords and you shall find the factory default one and this should work....

NEXT I would write down ALL menu settings and do a factory default this will erase the box and start fresh... reload the Bin and it should clear this problem....

Also there is a cleaner file which should do this as well.... check the file section for the cleaner file... Good Luck!
