    Exclamation Factory y loaders ILink 8 y 9000+ y mas

    Difference Between I-Link 9000 & 9000 Plus Files
OK to avoid confusion about the ilink 9000 and 9000+ files here is how you tell the difference

this is what the regular 9000 file looks like

    Is9000 1208 may0610
    I-Link IS9000_1276_JUN1010_P

here is what the 9000+ file looks like....note the P in red...

    Is9000p 1207 may0610 p

for the regular 9000 files you wont see the P where its shown in red here....only the 9000+ files have that there....

    I-LINK 9000 Plus - How I Set Up my I-LINK 9000 Plus
    I-LINK 9000 Plus - How I Set Up my I-LINK 9000 Plus
Hi just wanted to report on how easy it was to set up the 9000 Plus. What a dream it was.

All you have to do is:

    1. connect your home network to the ethernet port on the rear of the receiver.
    2. get the latest img file (posted on this forum)
    3. put it on your memory stick
    4. insert the memory stick in the USB slot on the rear of the receiver. (I like that the USB port is on the rear, because when I connect a permanent hard disc, I can hide the cabling).
    5. Turn on the receiver via the RPS
    6. Using the remote turn on the receiver
    7. Select your lang
    8. Scan through the menu and find 'USB' - push OK on the remote
    9. Find the img file on the memory stick by scrolling up or down using the arrow buttons on the remote.
    10. When you find the file - press ok and follow the prompts
    11. after the receiver reboots - do a factory default
    12. select your language
    13. set your TV aspect ratio (optional)
    14. set your local time
    15. set up your sats (sat / diseqc / port)
    16. scan your sats

Now you should be good to go, if you have connected your network. You may have to wait a few minutes for the message to appear and subsequently the video.

While waiting - I went to the network option (using my remote) and checked for an IP address. At first it was zeros - but I scrolled down and clicked on APPLY - waited a few seconds (approximate 15 to 30 sec) - and then the IP configuration appeared. Be sure your receiver is in 'DHCP' mode. I tested both a wireless adapter (wgps606 wireless printer adapter) and 85 Mbps Powerline adapters. Both worked without a hitch.

Overall it's a great box. I found that I had to manually scan some TP's as they did not download properly. I believe this is not a receiver issues but more an alignment issue with my dish. So make sure you fine tune your dish before scanning.

One very positive thing about the I-LINK that sets it apart from the others. Is there message screen!!! When they are having network or server issues a message will let you know, as well as when a new file is required. This alone can save you a lot of frustration in trying to figure out if the issue you are experiencing is local (your hardware) or induced by the network. Furthermore, it also let's you know when a channel has been made available when normally not. For example the sport channel 455.

    Hope this helps someone

    Translation by Google:

Here the One Loder used to place the Factory BIN addition to the Bin, to repair the IS9500 ILink HD, when it remains in Wellcome friz .. By not being able to use the iLink Loader, Loader should be used in this just to lower the BIN Factory to the box, and then placed the last FIX for IKS etc.atravez USB etc .............

    Instructions:

Programs put down here and unzip, put NULL modem cable from PC to the box, open the BIN LOADER and put the factory, Press BROWSE and when located within the BIN Loader press SEND, power cycle the box behind and wait until it finishes downloading it will slow and several steps, not touching it until the end .... Thanks to all who gave me LIGHT BOXYFAN for this solution ... and give them to you
