    Well I read the card, click on view EEPROM dump, and searched and found 2 bytes in your list (3BE0 & 3BF0). Now looking for any of the ones on the notes_c1_test page, with know luck. I'm had clean the card 3 times and wrote the bin COONHOUND 3M 4-8 bin, witch I found in another thread. Should I try and fine a bin from the last days of dave?

    See the attached pic of where I've got to.

    Determaned to get this to work.

    I don't bother with old 3M files, just do the mod to the call that allows channels to be open (ie 3BF0 : 8E DE D9 ). Then if you want do other mods, but if you just do that one step, it likely is all you need.

    So I take it the bin on the cards is ok to use. The byte 3BF0 starts with (8E DE D9), what changes do I need to do here?

    Well I got it. Did a hard reboot to the receiver, clean the card acouple of times, wrote a hex called (defeat this), and bingo all the music channels are there. I it stay up.

    what flash did you use on your card reader??

    some one must have some information on what flash to use on a T911! while i am sure i have it, just don't have it on right now ATMEL AT90S2313 10PI

    i found that i should use UL4S, but i have forgotten what program to use to load it, i haven't done any of this for years and have forgotten what time of the day anymore, so if you have some suggestion of what program to use let me know, i am using xp i'm sure that i have the program but not sure what to use.

    well i got it to work, but what sat should i be looking at? i looked at lyngstat and couldn't tell which one they are using, i just wanted to get a really good signal. I have a 3 lnb dish, 101-110-119
