USB Serial adaptor help

I need help geting my adapter to work. I get a conection failed error when I try to start the loader. I have an orasat 5.0, and a belkin f5u409 adapter.
I loaded the driver, it is on (com2) settings are: DPS 9600, data bits 8, priarty none, stop bits 1, flow control none, use FIFO buffers both set to hi. Running Vista.
Don,t know what else to try.

Your DVD/CD drive should accept the small disc. Open the try and look carefully for a small circular indination for the small disc.


IF yours does not have such, you can always use a friend, neighbor, clasmmate's etc drive who does support the small disc and have them copy it to a thumb/flash drive and/or a memory card or, copy it and send it to you in Email......

The install program should be quite small


BTW Aptiva is OFFICE DEPOT's Brand name, I checked their website for downloads, but bo luck, You could call them and ask if they have a support site for their Aptiva products.

To get an answer I'd suggest you start a new thread in the viewsat forum but be prepared to answer questions about internationals be up.
